All Christians are encouraged to engage in regular study of God's Word.  Scripture is best understand when it is read in community.  Personal study is good and encouraged, we can use tools to help us.  Yet, we still need to read and reflect on God's Word with others.  Study can empower us to an actively response to God's Word in daily life.    Therefore, being a student of scripture requires both personal study and group study.  First Lutheran Church and School offers a variety of groups studies during the year.  Below is a list of study tools that might help with your personal study.
