“Give the gift that keeps on giving.” This slogan was very popular a generation ago, and still represents what we all look for in this season of gift-giving. Family, friends, co-workers – so many people to shop for and think of as we prepare our Christmas shopping lists: how to find gifts that will be special, memorable, and will reflect our values and really be from the heart?
In these pages you will find a number of ways to give gifts that really keep on giving, to show those in your life what really matters to you, and to help those special people to reach out to others as well. There are so many ways to do good in the world, and we hope that you’ll discover some that really express your heart and soul for God’s world and God’s mission.
At the very center of the Christmas message is the good news that God loves this world, and came to share our human life in the person of Christ Jesus. May these gift ideas help all of us to join the angels’ Glorias and Hallelujahs, to sing our praises, our “Joy to the World,” by helping to make the world just a little bit more merciful and joyous in the name of the Child of Bethlehem!
