In addition, parents can be confident in the facts that FLS is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). In addition, our principal, Sandy Ammentorp, was named a National Distinguished Principal by the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and Principal of the Year by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Our goal is to offer this outstanding educational experience to families at an exceptional value. Tuition and other educational costs are adjusted annually. The following costs are current for the 2010-2011 school year:

Additional Costs

H.U.G. (Help Us Grow) Annual Fund Every family is required to contribute $200 annually to the school's building fund in a choice of three ways:
1) In full at registration,
2) In two installments of $100 each, due in September and April, or
3) By participation in the school's scrip program.

P.E. clothes -- Required for grades 5 through 8
Bible -- Required for grades 1 through 8
Optional programs -- School milk program, yearbook
