Our Mission

At First Lutheran School, everything we do is guided by a single purpose:

First Lutheran School, rooted in Christian faith and the assurance of God's grace, provides our diverse community of children a quality education, preparing them to participate in the world through lives of service and leadership.

In support of this mission, we have identified four Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLRs) that First Lutheran students will ...

-- Be assured of God's grace through Jesus Christ as they mature in their faith,
-- Develop respect for others and integrity in their work and play,
-- Gain the skills and confidence to face new challenges and make wise choices,
-- Utilize tools and strategies for effective communication, academic learning and critical thinking.

Our administration, faculty and staff are committed to our mission and ESLRs, and all school planning, operations and activities are intended to achieve these goals.
