Governance

First Lutheran School is governed by the First Lutheran School Board, which is responsible for determining all general policy and curriculum for the school.  The board is comprised of parents of First Lutheran School students, members of the congregation of First Lutheran Church and school administrators and staff.

School board members are appointed by the Congregation Council, the governing body of First Lutheran Church. All school board actions and decisions are reviewed by the Congregation Council.  A School Board Trustee, who is a member of the school board, also sits on the Congregation Council as a liaison between the council and board.

The First Lutheran School Board meets once a month on the school campus.  Meeting dates and times are published in the school calendar.
